New Report, Old Report #2

Episode #2 of “New Report, Old Report” with hosts John Lund and Al Renauto, aka Al from White Plains.

This week, we’re all over LeBron James taking his talents to the Los Angeles Lakers and what that means for LA, its fanbase, and the entire NBA. Aside from LeBron, the theme for the opening weekend of NBA free agency was several star players deciding to stay put. Any surprise to Paul George picking the Thunder over the Lakers and Chris Paul staying in Houston?

N.B. This show was recorded on Sunday night, and included live reactions to the Lakers signing Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee, as well as a joke that they should sign Rondo as well (hah!). Julius Randle’s departure from LA and the DeMarcus Cousins signing with the Golden State Warriors was not discussed.

We’ll be bringing you our takes on the latest sports news from an older and newer perspective as a one-hour show on Monday nights, live at 8 ET / 5 PT via Sports Radio America or the TuneIn app. The show will then be available as a podcast on iTunes and on lundinbridge.com a few hours after the episode. Additional bonus content can also be found exclusively on this podcast.
