The Bridge Ep. 26: NFL analyst Matt Waldman joins the show to recap the 2016 NFL Draft

The dust has settled on the 2016 NFL Draft, and what a draft it was.

What did we learn? Well, projected draftees should probably start deleting their social media accounts at least six months beforehand, don’t invite your family and friends over to your house if you’re not 100% sure you’ll get drafted in the first round, and that the majority of the players picked this year probably won’t pan out.

That said, we had some pretty interesting storylines. This week, NFL analyst Matt Waldman stopped by the show to help us recap the draft and what we can look for this fall. Matt is the creator of the Rookie Scouting Portfolio and a staff writer for Footballguys.com, among many other things. The RSP is one of the most comprehensive publications of NFL prospect analysis at the skill positions out there.

You can download the Pre-Draft RSP over at www.mattwaldman.com. That will also get you the Post-Draft update, which comes out Friday, May 6. You can read more about the RSP and see videos and samples of it here.

This episode, Matt discusses the chaos that was Leremy Tunsil, what we’ll see out of the QBs taken as the No. 1 and 2 picks, why the Cowboys picked a running back at No. 4, if the Jaguars will be legit in 2016, which team got better from the draft and which players might give immediate help for your fantasy football team.

Be sure to also follow Matt on Twitter for insights and analysis on the NFL and fantasy football throughout the year. The interview starts a little after the 7:00 minute mark.
